The Summit

The Summit, a lovely community of custom homes in Kerrville, Texas, is perched on one of the highest hills in town. Located in the northeast corner of Kerrville, the Summit is populated with people of diverse interest and backgrounds, who enjoy their lofty view of ranches, woods, and city lights.

Kerrville offers the best of the Hill Country of Texas, with great scenery, a gentle rolling countryside and manifold offering of musical, performing, and visual arts.

About the Summit

THE SUMMIT is a residential development of Kerrville, Texas, on a promontory at the northwest corner of town. At an elevation of 1950 feet, the Summit is aptly named; many homes in the development have a panoramic view of the bucolic countryside. The climate is relatively mild, surprisingly more moderate than the climate of San Antonio, only 60 miles away to the southeast.

The development was initiated in the early 1990’s; there are now around 200 residences of diverse architecture. The interests of Summit residents are represented collectively by a Property Owners’ Association, officially the Kerrville Summit Property Owners’ Association, Inc. formed in 2000. It officially comprises Phases 3 -12 of the development, but actually works to represent the interests of all Summit residents. The corporation has a Board of Directors of comprised of 6 officers and an Architecture
